THE PRODUCTS

Descriptive Accuracy and Limitation of liability
We endeavour to describe our products as accurately as possible, but errors can occur in the information we place on our website.  We make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.

The prices and availability of our products are subject to change at any time without notice.

Import Duty
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept liability for any importation charges levied by local Customs.

Returns and Exchanges  - Physical Products
We guarantee that if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase and return the item(s) concerned in a clean and re-saleable condition in the original packaging, within 28 days of receipt, the cost of the item(s) will be refunded. Due to the nature of digital downloads, we are unable to offer refunds.

We will only accept returns of products bought directly from Deighton Needleworks.

If you want to return or exchange a tapestry please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We can then either offer a refund or suggest a replacement.

Kits returned from outside the UK must be clearly marked as Unsuitable Returned Goods. 

Your postage costs are non-refundable.

Shipping Times
Deliveries to the USA normally take from 5 to 14 working days (not including weekends). For deliveries to Australia, New Zealand and Japan please allow up to 3 weeks. You can contact us if you need to upgrade to delivery by courier.

Digital Downloads
Our digital downloads are strictly for personal use only, no commercial licence is granted. You may copy the file onto any device you have or print it out to work from. You may not adjust the file or monetise this in any way by sharing it in any digital or printed form for personal gain. All designs remain the copyright of Deighton Needleworks. Due to the nature of digital downloads, we are unable to offer refunds.

Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site,  arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and to communicate with you.

All payment details are processed by a third party and we do not handle or retain card information.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

The conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
